Accelerate Your Path to a New Career

Accelerate, Technical Training and Job Placement program, available at six regional colleges including UNM-LA, is a program of study and ongoing coaching that quickly prepares people of all ages and educational backgrounds for enhanced employment opportunities.

The program also retrains workers in core technical areas for careers in a number of technology-related fields. Accelerate provides a first step toward obtaining jobs, as well as a flexible foundation for retraining as industries and employers innovate in the future.

If you are a nontraditional student or worker interested in pursuing a certificate program or returning to college for career training, you are a good fit for the Accelerate program.

Summer Math Experience, 2011
Starts July 16, every Saturday through August 20
Earn college credit in college math classes.
Receive $500 stipend for successful completion
Held at Northern New Mexico College

Financial Assistance
Receive stipend of $100 for completing Program Orientation
Accelerate pays students in the program

Professional Readiness Training
Free training geared to get you ready for your new career. Plus a stipend for completing the program

Coaching
Coaches will help you stay on track with coursework and career preparation. They find solutions to help you juggle your job, family, and school.
