Young Readers & Writers Conference
(3rd – 6th Grades)


Come and explore the fascinating world of the written word. This special conference is designed for students who wish to enhance their oral and written skills, either as readers or writers. Participants may choose from several workshops: Owl Post, Monsters & Myths: From Hydra to Harry Potter; Writing through Theatre Improv; Magic Worlds, Real Words: Three-dimensional; Fairies & Folklore: From Sleeping Beaty to Superman; Writing from Pictures; Sci-Fi & Fantasy: Creating Worlds; and The Music of the Write. For students currently enrolled in 3rd through 6th grades.. A few younger students may be accepted on a space available basis. Tuition includes all materials; students bring their own lunch and drink. Students choose one workshop per session.
