UNM-LA offers its faculty opportunities to pursue original scholarly, professional, technical, or artistic activity with support from the Bobbye Straight Faculty Initiative Endowment. Successful applicants must produce a clearly defined product that benefits the applicant, curricular quality, and/or UNM-Los Alamos students. An annual award of release time or $3,000 is available.
