In preparation for the up-coming Accreditation visit, UNM-Los Alamos is in the process of assessing its programs and services. An Assessment Team has been formed, which includes Lee Bollschweiler, Division Head for Business, Computer Science, and Information Technology; Patricia Boyer, Director of Student Services; Kate Massengale, Division Head for Arts and Social Sciences; and Kay Willerton, Division Head for Mathematics, Science, and Engineering.

The Assessment Team attended an assessment conference in Chicago, during the Spring 2007 Semester. An action plan has been put into place, and the first activity involving all core faculty and staff was held on Friday, September 7, 2007.
