Each student is is required to have a UNM NetID. The public lab and classroom computers cannot be used without one. New students can create their NetID here. This account is accessed
through my.unm.edu and is the account that is needed to register for
classes, print transcripts, check financial status, and check degree
progress. This account should be used for reading and sending e-mail. The
UNM email address looks like: NetID@unm.edu where NetID is your personal
login. In order to use UNMLA's secure wireless network, a student must have a local network account. To request this account please contact the Computer Services Manager in building 3 or one of the tech support personnel. A local network account is not required to access the un-secure UNMLA-Guest wireless network. Instructions for connecting to the UNMLA wireless network.
